MSRefugees.com is a unique on-line community for people whom MS has touched in some way. The name originated back three years ago when a drug company suddenly decided to drop the interactive site which displaced many of the current members. Trent Spencer, the founder, decided to create the Refugee site so members could continue to congregate for counsel, compassion and camaraderie.
What makes the site unique from other on-line MS communities is the very popular Discussion Board which includes such features as breaking news on MS, current research, intimacy topics, photos and a real time chat room available 24 hours a day. Also included is a section for discussing actual past and future gatherings in different parts of the country where members actually meet in person.
All are welcome to visit and join the site. But be forewarned, you just might end up staying for awhile and make some new friends in the process.
