A "couples program" for marriages with MS involved

All info found below was provided by Ann in Texas:

"We participate in the MS teleconferences sponsored by the couples program and one session is at 9:00pm. Thursday, Oct. 15th. We just dial in and participate in the course, which is usually about 6 weeks--this one is called Healthy Relationships. We have also participated in the course Anger Management. I still demonstrate fits of anger about _____'s limited capacity and the fact that we have to adapt so much. The classes help me to realize that I should not direct the anger at him/her in the form of unkind words, etc. It really does not help, it only hurts our relationship. We need continual guidance and a safe place to direct our concerns".
Dear Friends,
The above was sent to me by a woman who contacted me at a seminar I recently attended. It speaks very well about the couple's program offered by the MS Society. Please keep the program in mind. Our families get frustrated just as we do in understanding MS. Every bit of help we can get is very valuable. This program may even save some marriages. For information and registration, call 1-800-344-4867 (press 1) or e-mail couplesprogram@nmss.org. Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant: 90FE0090/01.
Ann
