"Only a neurologist can tell if you're having a relapse." Really? Having MS for 20 years, I really don't need a neurologist to tell me I'm having a relapse. If I take a nap on Sunday, keep falling asleep during the week, get weaker, and then start falling repeatedly and can't get up by Thur, it's a relapse. My MRIs don't show any changes since I was diagnosed. But I do have definite relapses that only seem helped by the short-lived, intense, course of prednisone. I think I know my own body well enough to know exactly what's happening with the MS, and think people should listen to their bodies first and foremost.
