| Stuart, I appreciate what you are doing. My wife is quadriplegic, on a ventilator due to MS. Bedridden for 15 years. I have hopes for stem cells and other possible cures. When I went to the site concerning the experiences in China with stem cell therapy, I noticed a pattern: generally enthusiastic praise for the treatment during and a few weeks after, followed by no further comments or a rare negative one on lack of progressw. The big improvements were to come within a few months and seem not to have occurred. We need to know the unvarnished truth, even if that diminishes the likelihood of a placebo effect. Now I see other treatments being covered with a similar pattern: early this and early that. Follow ups are needed! Douglas W. Cooper, Ph. D. first hand follow up info from one of the most famous recipients of stem cells for MS at 6 weeks post treatment:
"This is Richard Humphries again. I receive 2 intrathecal
injections which were immediately followed up with the IV
of non-expanded super stem cells that I thought
was going to blow the top of my head off. It was not painful but eventful.
For the first time I thought someone else was in my body with me.
I hope that don't charge me for double at the movie theater?
One of the areas we have noticed improvement with my MS is increased hearing.
So much so I have had to remove my right hearing aid. It is totally out of whack.
It is like my hearing changes daily. Last week the hearing test showed an increase
of 25 decibels in the 8000 frequency. My cognition has also improved along with coordination,
spasticity even more so!!!!!!!!!! Now according to a Harvard Medical study from last year the stem cells
continue to re-grow damaged tissue from one to four months and I am only 6 weeks out
from the end of my treatment. It is really getting exciting especially since I no longer
have the feeling of reoccurring tonic seizures which consumed me 600+ times.
Take care and many blessings,
Richard"

Stem Cell treatment Patient Advocacy:
RSCI is the world’s only Stem Cell Patient Advocacy company and the only public service organization in the world whose mission is to empower "untreatable" patients and educate them as to how stem cells may (or may not) help them. RSCI helps patients NOW, not 10-30 years in the future. We offer professional case management services at no cost to patients who desire access to expert and reliable stem cell treatments for chronic and disabling disease. While RSCI does not treat patients, we help patients take the next step toward a better quality of life. We help patients navigate the complicated stem cell treatment center approval process and any unintended glitches in the administrative process. http://repairstemcells.org/Treatment/Treatment-Request.aspx?d=Multiple%20Sclerosis
Richard - Thanks for providing this information. I will make sure Douglas receives this information. -

For stem cell research we should have more openness in testing and funds availability to the organizations. Stem cell treatments are going play a major role and change way of medical sciences in the near future.
