The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is hosting a FREE screening of Forks over Knives in Fort Lauderdale which examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. If you are in the Fort Lauderdale area we invite you to join us at our viewing and after party; if you are not in South Florida we encourage you to consider hosting your own screening in your community.

I rarely comment but I must say that this movie and the book, The China Study, have changed my way of eating. For 2 weeks now, I have been on a plant based diet. Given I lived as a pescetarian for 20 years, not all of the "giving up" of certain foods has been very hard. However, I was a "dairy" girl, but I have now found almond milk and a renewed energy - so, for me, this is a must.
This is definitely a very personal decision. All I can say to all of you is that it is great for me. If you try, I hope it is good for you too.
