Video: Bladder Tips in MS [including my favorite one]

"Bladder Hygiene" is a term Dr. B uses to refer to healthy habits that minimize bladder related symptoms in MS. Bladder hygiene tips include INCREASING water intake! Many avoid fluids, resulting in highly concentrated urine that irritates the bladder wall and worsens symptoms! Another tip: TIMING VOIDS, with planned bathroom trips starting every 2 hours while awake, then adjusting the time interval to avoid "gotta to right NOW!" moments. Another tip is to drink 2/3 of all the fluids your going to drink in the 1st 1/2 of the day, and stopping fluids after dinner. This way you enter the bed NOT making urine and don't wake with nocturia (wake from sleep to pee pee!). Watch the video for further tips and tricks to improve "bladder hygiene."
