Move and Restore is invitation for you to connect with your body through guided movement. The goal of the session is not about perfecting a specific shape. Instead, we focus on creating a sense of safety for participants to make choices about how they would like to move during the session.
Sessions utilize Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), an evidence-based treatment for trauma and PTSD shown to help participants develop a sense of agency over their body that is often compromised due to traumatic experiences. Participants can follow along from a chair, or a mat and no yoga experience is required as it’s all about what works for you.
